Christmas Concert
A packed Parish Hall enjoyed a lively and Christmassy Concert by Lydgate Band on Sunday 4th December. Conductor Jim Beale led the band in a wide range of music and got the audience singing along. The music was so good he could even be forgiven for his ’50 worst Christmas Cracker jokes’!
Wayne Baxter, who hasn’t been well enough to join the band for a few weeks still did a wonderful job leading the volunteer jingle bell players whilst his wife Val, led the audience in the customary rendition of Twelve Days of Christmas with actions. A sight to behold!
