Monday Talks
Hazel Davies, the well-known local music teacher, brought along some children from the top Friezland Guitar Group and one pupil from Knowsley School to give us a little recital. She also brought along her talented daughter, Sarah, who plays the guitar and the harp.
Beginning with the theme from “Titanic”, they entertained us with a lovely varied programme, including carols and some solos from the children. Sarah played the Mingelay Boat song and Silent Night on the harp and then joined with Hazel and William for a haunting rendition of In the Bleak Mid-Winter.
It was a lovely afternoon, thanks to Hazel, Sarah and their talented pupils.
