Collage Hung In The White Hart

Great news! The collage has been hung in the new Community Room at the White Hart.  This room is the small “snug” behind the previous Community Room as this is shortly to undergo extensive structural improvements.  The snug is scheduled for re-decoration in the near future when the hanging will be repositioned at a higher and less vulnerable level with an explanatory plaque beside it.

 To mark the event the Stitchers held a “get-together” in the snug.  It was a chance for the two groups, the afternoon and evening sections, who worked on the collage to get to know one another.  They celebrated with a glass of wine, generously donated by Love Lydgate, some delicious cake and a great deal of chatter.  Could they have been discussing their next project?
